Through covid, we had to adjust our shipping practices. We no longer offer cargo shipping and strongly recommend arranging your flight to meet us at the Salt Lake International Airport where we can deliver your puppy to you at arrivals on the ground level, and you can fly back with your new best friend in-cabin, and can see your puppy at all times. We have found this to be the best option for you and your new puppy! Beware: you WILL be the most popular person at the airport! :)
This method has proven to be less stressful for all involved. Plus, we get to meet face to face with all of our out-of-state customers! If it is just not possible for you to fly here, please reach out to us and we can help you schedule with a trusted flight nanny.
Supplies needed from you: soft carrier that is airline approved (check with your airline to see exact measurements required) I have our favorite one linked on the 'RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS' page *Please note: Most major airlines accept puppies at 8 weeks old, but Delta requires the puppy to be 10 weeks old before flying. So far, JetBlue, Southwest and American have been great to accommodate our clients flying back with their 8 wk puppies. But, please do your homework and MAKE SURE you know your airline's requirements! I'll take care of the rest!
I work with two flight-nanny companies that are fantastic! I am very picky on who I hire and trust my puppies with. If flying to Utah just isn't going to work for you, please let me know and I will reach out and get a quote from both nanny companies. Sometimes one is cheaper than the other.
Just a heads up: flight prices change quickly, so once we get a quote, please be ready to reserve & pay for your flight portion the same day.
*You will pay the flight nanny directly - Venmo or Credit Cards are accepted.
Every puppy goes home with a little swag bag full of toys, treats, food, chew toys, pee pad, poop bags, wipes, NuVet wafers and a blanket or toy that has been rubbed down on all of the puppies and momma so you can take home all the good smells from home. I will provide all of your paperwork needed to travel - health certificate if needed, vet exam, medical records and vaccine/deworming record.
Puppies will receive NeoPar (Parvo) vaccine at 4 & 6 weeks & NeoVet (Distemper) vaccine at 5 & 7 weeks. Puppies will receive a 5-way(DHPP) at 8 weeks and deworming every one-two weeks from birth. I will provide a medical record that includes everything the puppy receives until it leaves here.
Recommended vaccines after puppies leave us:
11-12 weeks: DHPP & Rabies
14-15 weeks: DHPP
Yearly after that: DHPP & Rabies
*Rabies: the first booster is due 1 year after their 12 weeks Rabies shot. After that, it is a 3 year vaccine.
Feel free to reach out with any questions!
If you have been following along with us on Instagram, you might have seen that we had a litter get Parvo in November. Since Parvo can live in the ground for up to 10 years, and despite EVERYTHING we have done to kill the virus, chances are we didn't get all of it. I know I can't control viruses & bacteria that puppies can be exposed to, I chose to build their immune systems up the very best I can! Since the Parvo episode, I have all of my dogs & puppies on NuVet - an immune building supplement that I strongly believe in! I have had 2 litters since November, and we haven't had an issue with Parvo since. I credit most of that to NuVet! It almost doubles their immunity, especially to Parvo if given the first year of life. Your puppy will go home with a week's supply, but you can order from right here on my website. My dogs like the wafers, but they do have a powder that can be sprinkled over their food.
